ἔφθασεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς ἡ ὀργὴ εἰς τέλος = "the wrath has come upon them to the end/completion." The aorist ἔφθασεν (ephthasen) may be a prophetic perfect—divine judgment so certain it is spoken as already accomplished—or may reference the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE, which some scholars take as evidence of a post-70 interpolation, though most reject this. εἰς τέλος can mean "finally," "completely," or "to the uttermost." F.O.G. chooses "to the uttermost" for completeness of measure; F.O.G. Message uses "at last and in full" to combine both finality and totality.
