אִי-כָבוֹד (*ʾî-ḵāḇôḏ*) fuses the negative particle אִי (*ʾî*, 'there is no' or 'where is?') with כָּבוֹד (*kāḇôḏ*, 'glory/weight/honour'). Both 'No Glory' (FOG) and 'Where is the Glory?' (FOG Message) are linguistically defensible. כָּבוֹד is YHWH's weighty, luminous Presence — the same term for the divine radiance filling the tabernacle (Exod. 40:34–35) and Solomon's temple (1 Kings 8:11), and the same glory Ezekiel watches withdraw from Jerusalem step by step (Ezek. 10–11). A dying, nameless woman becomes the chapter's true theologian, naming what the elders could not see.
