The F.O.G Bible Project exists to change that — three new translations built publicly (a Study Bible, a Reader's Bible, and F.O.G Jr. for younger readers), plus a word-by-word renewal of Strong's Concordance restoring the depths most translations leave behind. It is Jean Paul's lifelong work, unfolding in public — and you're invited in.

He works from a personal encounter with Jesus first, then draws on the scholarship of respected Jewish and Christian scholars — because the church was Jewish before it was anything else, and those roots change everything about how you read Scripture.

Samuel's prelude to the king-selection deliberately invokes the Exodus — the foundational act of divine rescue accomplished without a human king. The covenant formula "I brought you up out of Egypt" reverberates through the prophets (Amos 2:10; Mic 6:4; Jer 2:6) as the baseline by which Israel's faithfulness is measured. To hear it here is to feel the full weight of what Israel is rejecting.
