The triad of keruvim, palm trees (*temarim*), and open blossoms (*peturei tzitzim*) is a consistent decorative programme throughout the Temple, explicitly evoking the Garden of Eden. The keruvim who barred Eden's entrance (Gen. 3:24) now adorn the walls of the place where the covenant God dwells—suggesting that in the Temple, access to paradise is provisionally restored. This Edenic typology reaches its consummation in Revelation's New Jerusalem, where the Tree of Life grows freely and the veil is gone forever. Both translations preserve the triad; FOG Message draws out the Edenic resonance.
