As the king passed, he called out: "Your servant was right in the thick of the fighting when a soldier turned aside and brought me a prisoner with these orders: 'Guard this man with your life — if he escapes, you pay with your own life, or forfeit a talent of silver.'"
As the king passed by, he called out to the king: "Your servant went out into the thick of the battle. Suddenly a man turned aside and brought me a prisoner, saying, 'Guard this man — if for any reason he goes missing, your life will answer for his, or you will pay a talent of silver.'"
