The sevenfold repetition (*sheva*, שֶׁבַע) carries the covenantal weight of completeness — seven is the signature number of covenant fullness in Hebrew thought. The servant's persistent, apparently fruitless return is a portrait of faith acting on a word not yet visible. Yeshua's parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1–8) and Ya'akov's teaching on effective prayer (James 5:17–18) breathe the same air as this scene.
