Kairos sunestalmenos — kairos is not clock-time (chronos) but the charged, appointed moment in salvation history; sunestalmenos (perfect passive of sustellō, to contract/compress/furl) pictures the remaining time drawn in like a sail being furled. The FOG renders 'compressed' for precision; the FOG Message 'drawn tight to its very limit' attempts to capture both the vivid physical image and its eschatological weight.
