τὸ πάσχα ἡμῶν ἐτύθη Χριστός — literally, "our Pascha was slaughtered — Messiah." The aorist ἐτύθη (was sacrificed/slaughtered) echoes the ritual slaughter of the Passover lamb in Exodus 12. Χριστός is placed emphatically last — the subject revealed at the sentence's climax. F.O.G preserves "Pesach" and "Messiah" to maintain the Jewish sacrificial framework Paul is working within; F.O.G Message uses "Passover Lamb" and "Christ" to make the typological identification explicit. The logic is paradoxical: because the Lamb has already been slain, the festival of unleavened lives has already begun — "you already are unleavened" is the indicative reality grounding the imperative to purge.
