ἀνθρωπίνης ἡμέρας is literally 'a human day' — a pointed idiomatic contrast. In Hebrew thought, the 'Day of YHWH' is the definitive moment of divine judgment; 'a human day' is therefore a human court of adjudication set over against that final eschatological verdict. Sha'ul deliberately frames human assessment as a small, provisional courtroom dwarfed by the tribunal to come.
