King David addressed the whole assembly: "My son Solomon — chosen by God and no other — is young and untested, yet the work before him is immense; for this palace is not for any man, but for Yahweh our God."
King David said to all the assembly, "Shelomoh my son — whom Elohim alone has chosen — is young and tender, yet the task before him is immense; for this birah is not built for man, but for YHWH Elohim."
Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
Then King David said to the whole assembly, “My son Solomon, the one whom God has chosen, is young and inexperienced. The task is great because this palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
