On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.

[11] Entering the house, they found the child Jesus with His mother Mary. Immediately, these dignified scholars fell to their knees in worship. Then they opened their treasure chests, presenting gifts that proclaimed His identity: gold fitting for a king, frankincense used in divine worship, and myrrh pointing prophetically to His future sacrifice.
