After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,

After the exile, new generations arose: Shealtiel, then Zerubbabel, who helped rebuild Jerusalem's temple, a symbol of God's faithfulness to restore His people.
