Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. “Silence!” He commanded. “Be still!” And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm.

He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

(39) And He got up rebuking the ruach-wind and said to the lake, "Be completely silent!" The ruach-wind stopped and a great calm occurred.

[39] Jesus stood up, faced the wind and waves, and commanded with divine authority: "Silence! Be still!" Immediately the wind died down and the sea became completely calm.
