As Jesus was sitting opposite the treasury, He watched the crowd putting money into it. And many rich people put in large amounts.

As He sat near the Temple treasury, Jesus watched people dropping their offerings into the collection boxes. Many wealthy individuals made grand donations, the clinking of their coins echoing through the trumpet-shaped collection boxes.
