But Jesus saw through their hypocrisy and said, “Why are you testing Me? Bring Me a denarius to inspect.”

Should we pay or shouldn’t we?” Jesus saw right through them, exposing their hypocrisy: "Why are you trying to trap Me? Bring Me a denarius coin and let Me examine it."
