He preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the thong of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.

and proclaimed, saying, "After me, comes the One, mightier than I, who I'm not worthy to bend down and untie His sandals strap.

[7] His thundering voice declared: "Someone is coming after me who operates in a realm of power I can't even approach. I'm not worthy to even stoop down and untie His sandals—that's how far above me He is!

and he proclaimed, saying, ‘He doth come—who is mightier than I—after me, of whom I am not worthy—having stooped down—to loose the latchet of his sandals;
