When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees. “Go away from me, Lord,” he said, “for I am a sinful man.”

Then, when Simon Peter had a moment to catch his breath, he fell at Jesus' feet, overwhelmed by his own unworthiness in the presence of such a Man. "Lord, please leave me," he pleaded, " because I am a sinful man."
