[14] Later that day, Jesus found the man in the Temple courts, where he had gone perhaps to thank God for his healing. Jesus told him, "See, you are well again! But now, stop sinning, or something worse than your physical disability may happen to you." His words carried both compassion and warning about the eternal consequences of sin.

After these things, Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said to him, ‘Lo, thou hast become whole; sin no more, lest something worse may happen to thee.’
