His disciples replied, “Lord, if he is sleeping, he will get better.”

(12) The disciples then said to Him, "Adonai, if he's asleep he will be saved."

[12] His disciples, misunderstanding, responded, "Lord, if he's sleeping, he'll get better!" They grasped for any reason to avoid returning to dangerous territory.

therefore said his disciples, ‘Sir, if he hath fallen asleep, he will be saved;’
