Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping.

Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.

(24) and look there's a great storm on the sea so the boat was hidden (covered) with the waves but He was asleep.

Suddenly, a violent storm erupted on the lake. Massive waves crashed over the boat, threatening to sink it. Yet remarkably, the Messiah slept peacefully.
