Salmon married Rahab—a former prostitute from Jericho whose faith saved her family and grafted her into God's people. Their son Boaz showed similar grace by marrying Ruth, a widowed foreigner whose loyalty to Israel's God brought her into the Messiah's lineage. Their son Obed continued this legacy of redemption through Jesse.
