When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so they could go and anoint the body of Jesus.

Now when the Sabbath had ended, three women—Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome—made their way through Jerusalem's empty streets. They carried precious anointing spices to rub into the body of Jesus, as one final act of devotion for their beloved Teacher.
