and He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And she got up at once and began to serve them.

(39) Standing above her, He rebuked the fever and it left her and at once she got up, serving them.

[39] Standing over her bed, He rebuked the fever just as He had rebuked the demon. The fever immediately left her, and she got up at once to prepare a meal for her guests, fully restored to health and strength.
