(9) And immediately the man became healthy and picked up his bed and walked. But it was the Shabbat on that day.

[9] Immediately, strength flooded through the man's useless muscles. He stood up, grabbed his mat, and walked – truly walked – for the first time in thirty-eight years. This miracle happened on the Sabbath, the sacred day of rest.
