HaMashiach redeemed us from the curse pronounced from the Torah, having become a curse for us. For as it's written, "EVERYONE HANGING ON A WOODEN CROSS IS CURSED."

[13] But the Messiah rescued us from the law's curse by becoming cursed in our place. Scripture says: "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree." The Anointed Messiah rescued us from the curse pronounced by our divine law by becoming a curse for us. For as it's written by Moses, "EVERYONE HANGING ON A TREE IS CURSED."
