(25) But the disciples of Him, took him by night, let him down, lowering in a large basket by the wall.

[25] Under cover of darkness, his fellow believers—former targets of his persecution—now helped him escape. They lowered him in a basket through an opening in the city wall, love overcoming their past fear of him.
