Paul remained in Corinth for quite some time before saying goodbye to the brothers. He had his head shaved in Cenchrea to keep a vow he had made, and then he sailed for Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila.

[18] Paul remained in Corinth many days longer, strengthening the believers. Eventually, he bid farewell to the brothers and sisters, sailing for Syria accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila. In Cenchrea, he had his head shaved to fulfill a sacred vow, demonstrating his continued respect for Jewish spiritual practices even as he embraced his calling to the Gentiles.
