Crispus, the synagogue leader, and his whole household believed in the Lord. And many of the Corinthians who heard the message believed and were baptized.

[8] Yet not all hearts remained closed. Crispus, the synagogue leader, embraced the message of the Messiah along with his entire household. His courageous example inspired many Corinthians, who upon hearing the good news, trusted in the Lord and participated in the waters of baptism.
