One day at about the ninth hour, he had a clear vision of an angel of God who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”

[3] One afternoon around three o'clock—the Jewish hour of prayer—Cornelius experienced something extraordinary. In a vivid vision, he clearly saw God's angel entering his room, as real as any soldier under his command.
