For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

(9) because you know the favourable-grace of our יהוה YAHWEH, ישוע Yeshua Mashiach that though He was rich but because of you He became poor so that you, through His poverty may become rich.

[9] For you know the astonishing grace of our Lord Jesus the Messiah - though He possessed all the riches of heaven, yet for your sake He chose poverty, becoming destitute so that through His poverty, you might become truly rich with eternal spiritual wealth!

for ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that because of you he became poor—being rich, that ye by that poverty may become rich.
