What is the meaning of 2 Corinthians 2:3?

I wrote as I did so that on my arrival I would not be saddened by those who ought to make me rejoice. I had confidence in all of you, that you would share my joy.

(3) This same thing I wrote, so that when I came I wouldn't have grief from those who must make me celebrate. I have confidence upon you all that my joy is all of you.
