(2) The overseer therefore must be above reproach, husband of one wife, self controlled, prudent, modest, hospitable and skillful in teaching.

[2] Because of this high calling, an overseer must live a life that reflects the Messiah's character. Their marriage should be a living testimony of faithful love and commitment. They need to demonstrate clear-headed wisdom, maintain dignity in their conduct, and show hospitality that makes others feel welcomed and valued. They must be gifted in sharing spiritual truths in ways that touch hearts and transform lives.
