And{G2532} it is{G2076}{(G5748)} the Spirit{G4151} that beareth witness{G3140}{(G5723)}, because{G3754} the Spirit{G4151} is{G2076}{(G5748)} truth{G225}.
This is the One who came by water and blood, Yeshua Mashiach; not in water only, but rather in the water and in the blood. And it is the Spirit (רוּחַ Ruach) who is testifying, because the Spirit (רוּחַ Ruach) is the truth.
Jesus, the Anointed Messiah, is the One who came by water and blood. He didn’t come by water alone, but by water and blood. It’s the Spirit who keeps testifying to this, because the Spirit is the truth.
This one is he who did come through water and blood—Jesus the Christ, not in the water only, but in the water and the blood; and the Spirit it is that is testifying, because the Spirit is the truth,
