[10] Some receive the ability to perform miracles—demonstrations of יהוה's power breaking into our world. Others receive prophecy—speaking timely words that pierce hearts with divine insight. Some get the gift of discerning spirits—seeing beyond the surface into spiritual realities. Some receive various kinds of tongues—supernatural languages of prayer and praise. Others can interpret these tongues—bridging the gap between mystery and understanding.
