For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world was not given through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

(13) Because the promised-vow to Avraham or his seed that he would be heir of the world wasn't through Torah-Law rather through the righteousness of believing-faith.

[13] The magnificent promise that Abraham and his spiritual family would inherit God's transformation of the world didn't come through religious law-keeping. It came through the kind of trust that opens the door to deep relationship with God.

For not through law is the promise to Abraham, or to his seed, of his being heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith;
