As they do not approve of having the true knowledge of יהוה (Yahweh), Yahweh handed them over to a disqualified mind to do that which is not fitting.

[28] Since they rejected the knowledge of God as worthless, He allowed them to be controlled by worthless thinking, leading them to do things that destroy themselves and others.
