When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him, and embraced Mary as his wife.

When Joseph woke from his dream, faith overcame fear. He chose to believe and obey the message from Yahweh's angel, and took Mary as his wife to embrace his role in God's unfolding plan.
