As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus admonished them not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

[9] As they descended the mountain, Jesus gave them strict instructions: "Don't breathe a word about what you've witnessed until after the Son of Man has risen from the dead." His words hinted at both glory and suffering to come.
