One Sabbath Jesus was passing through the grainfields, and His disciples began to pick the heads of grain as they walked along.

One Sabbath, Jesus and His disciples walked through grain fields. His hungry disciples began picking heads of grain to eat, a practice normally allowed by Jewish law except on the Sabbath.
