When the people saw the sign that Jesus had performed, they began to say, “Truly this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

(14) So the people seeing the sign that He did said that, "This is really the Prophet who is to come into the world."

[14] When the people saw this miraculous sign, they began saying with growing excitement, "Surely this is the Prophet we've been expecting to come into the world!" They remembered Moses' promise of a prophet like himself.

The men, then, having seen the sign that Jesus did, said—‘This is truly the Prophet, who is coming to the world;’
