Berean Standard Bible (BSB)
Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
World English Bible (WEB)
Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
Strong's King James
Abide{G3306}{(G5657)} in{G1722} me{G1698}, and I{G2504} in{G1722} you{G5213}. As{G2531} the branch{G2814} cannot{G3756}{G1410}{(G5736)} bear{G5342}{(G5721)} fruit{G2590} of{G575} itself{G1438}, except{G3362} it abide{G3306}{(G5661)} in{G1722} the vine{G288}; no more{G3761}{G3779} can ye{G5210}, except{G3362} ye abide{G3306}{(G5661)} in{G1722} me{G1698}.
The F.O.G *
(4) Remain in Me and I in you. As the branch can't produce fruit from itself unless it remains in the grapevine, in this way, neither you, unless you remain in Me.
The F.O.G Message *
[4] Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can produce fruit by itself; it must stay connected to the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain vitally connected to Me.
Young's Literal Translation
remain in me, and I in you, as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, if it may not remain in the vine, so neither ye, if ye may not remain in me.
