Then the first angel sounded his trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, along with a third of the trees and all the green grass.

[7] The first angel sounded his shofar, and the natural order convulsed in response. Hail and fire, merged with blood, rained down on the earth with devastating effect. One-third of Earth's surface erupted in flames—forests reduced to ash, green fields scorched to wasteland—as creation itself groaned under divine judgment.
