When Moses entered the Tent of Meeting to speak with the LORD, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the mercy seat on the ark of the Testimony. Thus the LORD spoke to him.

When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with Yahweh, he heard his voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim: and he spoke to him.

And when Moses{H4872} was gone{H935}{(H8800)} into the tabernacle{H168} of the congregation{H4150} to speak{H1696}{(H8762)} with him, then he heard{H8085}{(H8799)} the voice{H6963} of one speaking{H1696}{(H8763)} unto him from off the mercy seat{H3727} that was upon the ark{H727} of testimony{H5715}, from between the two{H8147} cherubims{H3742}: and he spake{H1696}{(H8693)} unto him.
