Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

[6] Don't carelessly share sacred spiritual treasures with those who mock them. Don't cast the precious pearls of divine truth before those who trample them underfoot. They may turn and attack you, destroying both the gift and the giver.

Young's Literal Translation

Ye may not give that which is holy to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, that they may not trample them among their feet, and having turned—may rend you.
