Strong's King James
(24) Nobody can serve two masters because you either hate the one and love the other, or are devoted to one and despise the other. You can't serve GOD and mammon (evil wealth).
The F.O.G
No one can fully serve two masters. You'll either resent one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money or fame as your ultimate purpose.
The F.O.G Paraphrase
‘None is able to serve two lords, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to the one, and despise the other; ye are not able to serve God and Mammon.
