They must be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God. Because they present to the LORD the offerings made by fire, the food of their God, they must be holy.


World English Bible (WEB)

They shall be holy to their God, and not profane the name of their God; for they offer the offerings of Yahweh made by fire, the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.


Strong's King James

They shall be holy{H6944} unto their God{H430}, and not profane{H2490}{(H8762)} the name{H8034} of their God{H430}: for the offerings{H801} of the LORD{H3068} made by fire{H801}, and the bread{H3899} of their God{H430}, they do offer{H7126}{(H8688)}: therefore they shall be holy{H6918}.
