Do not rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken. For a viper will spring from the root of the snake, and a flying serpent from its egg.

Rejoice{H8055}{(H8799)} not thou, whole Palestina{H6429}, because the rod{H7626} of him that smote{H5221}{(H8688)} thee is broken{H7665}{(H8738)}: for out of the serpent's{H5175} root{H8328} shall come forth{H3318}{(H8799)} a cockatrice{H6848}, and his fruit{H6529} shall be a fiery{H8314} flying{H5774}{(H8789)} serpent{H8314}.
