Has any man planted a vineyard and not begun to enjoy its fruit? Let him return home, or he may die in battle and another man enjoy its fruit.


World English Bible (WEB)

What man is there who has planted a vineyard, and has not used its fruit? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man use its fruit.


Strong's King James

And what man{H376} is he that hath planted{H5193}{(H8804)} a vineyard{H3754}, and hath not yet eaten{H2490}{(H8765)} of it? let him also go{H3212}{(H8799)} and return{H7725}{(H8799)} unto his house{H1004}, lest he die{H4191}{(H8799)} in the battle{H4421}, and another{H312} man{H376} eat{H2490}{(H8762)} of it.
