Do not deny justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.
Berean Standard Bible (BSB)
You shall not wrest justice: you shall not respect persons; neither shall you take a bribe; for a bribe does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
World English Bible (WEB)
Thou shalt not wrest{H5186}{(H8686)} judgment{H4941}; thou shalt not respect{H5234}{(H8686)} persons{H6440}, neither take{H3947}{(H8799)} a gift{H7810}: for a gift{H7810} doth blind{H5786}{(H8762)} the eyes{H5869} of the wise{H2450}, and pervert{H5557}{(H8762)} the words{H1697} of the righteous{H6662}.
Strong's King James
Thou dost not turn aside judgment; thou dost not discern faces, nor take a bribe, for the bribe blindeth the eyes of the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
