With flattery he will corrupt those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

Such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

And such as do wickedly{H7561}{(H8688)} against the covenant{H1285} shall he corrupt{H2610}{(H8686)} by flatteries{H2514}: but the people{H5971} that do know{H3045}{(H8802)} their God{H430} shall be strong{H2388}{(H8686)}, and do{H6213}{(H8804)} exploits.

In smooth flatteries he will pollute those becoming guilty of the covenant, but the people who know their God will grow strong and practice it.
